Growing old and grey is an inevitable part of life—something we all must face eventually (for now, at least; who knows what advances in science and technology may bring in the future).
No matter how much money we have, how rigorously we maintain our diet and exercise routine, how well we sleep, or what our profession is, aging is an undeniable part of our biology. While some of us may age more slowly or differently than others, in the end, we all follow the same path. It’s just the way life works, and there’s little we can do to change that.
Which makes it all the more amusing when we’re still surprised by the effects of aging. Have you ever not seen someone for years, only to be shocked by how much they’ve aged? Or perhaps you catch a glimpse of a movie star you remember from your youth, only to find them with grey hair and no longer the vibrant, youthful presence you recall?
It’s an interesting phenomenon—how celebrities age. Like everyone else, their appearances change over time. However, their journey into old age is meticulously documented for all to see. With every film, red carpet event, or public appearance, they leave a trail that we can follow, almost as though we could trace the passage of time with our fingers.
Now, let’s segue into today’s topic: Who remembers Meg Foster?
Meg Foster Over the Years
Of course, you do! With her striking icy blue eyes, piercing gaze, and raw beauty, it’s hard to forget her.
Meg Foster made her acting debut alongside Michael Douglas in Adam at 6am (1970), going on to star in numerous iconic shows like The Six Million Dollar Man, Bonanza, The Twilight Zone, and Murder, She Wrote.
Once a rising star and highly sought-after actress, Foster has slowly faded from the limelight in recent decades. These days, at 76 years old, she is almost unrecognizable from the woman who Mademoiselle magazine once described as having “the eyes of 1979.”
While it’s not surprising, given her age, it seems that some people online are struggling to grasp just how much she’s changed. Some comments have been downright harsh, while others simply emphasize how different she looks now.
However, rather than criticizing her, we should applaud Foster for choosing to age naturally. In an industry where plastic surgery is so common, she’s remained true to herself without resorting to cosmetic procedures.
Even now, Foster continues to work in film and television and reportedly breeds horses on her own private ranch.
What do you think of Meg Foster’s transformation over the years? Do you remember her from her earlier days? Share your thoughts with us in the comments.
